2. Freelance poster designer for Spit Pit Live Poetry & Visuals

3. In house Photographer for Spit Pit Live Poetry & Visuals 

(March - July 2019)  

​

Spit Pit was a spoken word poetry and live visuals event that was based in Grahamstown and began in 2018. From their first show hosted at the Slipstream Sports bar in April 2018, I was their events photographer and co-coordinator. This included capturing the photographs and editing them as well, booking performing artists and seeking out new venues. In 2019, I got the opportunity to start designing the event's posters and recording their promotional videos. 

 

 

4. Camera Operator and Editing Assistant for ECCF Development Projects 

(April)

A three day shoot directed by Founder of "Fly Piggy Fly Entertainment" in Port Elizabeth, Julie Coetzee, in collaboration with the Eastern Cape Communication Forum. This entailed creating 3-5 minute promotional videos for non-profit Organisations that deal with issues like HIV/AIDS and teenage pregnancy located in the Eastern Cape communities. I operated camera and assisted Julie Coetzee was also the Editor with cutting the footage and writing the subtitles.

5. Tantsi Family Portrait Shoot

Commissioned to capture, direct and edit the Tantsi family portrait shoot in May. Included seeking suitable locations.

2018

 6. Junior Documentary Photographer for Freedom Park 

(December)

​

This was for their Nelson Mandela Documentary filmed by Sipho Mdanda in the Eastern Cape in celebration and part of “Madiba’s 100 years” in December 2018. Includes capturing the images, as well as, post production. 

7. Photographer for the Romeo & Jean Boutique

(August)

​

Commissioned to direct and photograph the images for the Boutique which is based in Pretoria and has a branch in Fourways (Johannesburg) in preparation for their website launch.
